Objective

You will be given a set of tables covering a specific topic (e.g., Education or Banking) and templates of an ambiguous request in English. Your task is to format and paraphrase the question to appear natural and grammatical and write its interpretations.

You can also download the instructions in PDF format here.

Example

Let's consider the following task:

Interface
  • Ambiguity: the filtering condition (ED4 F56 postcodes) can be applied to both museums and stadiums or it might be applied only to stadiums.

  • Rewriting the template: you need to rewrite the tempalte into a natural and grammatical sentence (in the form of a question or request):

    • All unformatted table and column names must be replaced with plain words;
    • The question must have the same intent as the template;
    • The question must be ambiguous, that is, allow for two readings;
    • You are encouraged to simplify the template, e.g. "Price equal to 50" → "cost 50", "Gender equal to Woman" → "female";

  • Interpretations: you also need to write two interpretations, which should sound natural and grammatical.
